"The Greek Interpreter"

From the Series: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes

Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes, David Burke as Dr Watson (13 episodes)
First published in "The Strand Magazine" Sep 1893 (GREE)

Synopsis:
An interpreter with a unbelievable story lead Holmes and his brother is race against time.

Review:
We meet Mycroft for the first time. The villain is overacted but the chase is thrilling. Not much in the way of deductions except when we first meet Mycroft.

“Com in,” said he, blandly

“It's charcoal,” he cried
