Synopsis:
Holmes aids an old school friend of Watson's to find a stolen foreign office Naval Treaty with Italy.

Review:
Watson's friend is a wimp and difficult to believe. The outcome is somewhat predictable but some clever deductions by Holmes.

	Holmes was working hard over a chemical investigation
	“I won't waste your time” said he
	Then take the Treaty
	Fast asleep in his box
	Here is a rough chart of the place
	Why, if it isn't Mr Phelps
	What a lovely thing a rose is

	I've heard of your methods before now, Mr Holmes

	“Any News?” He asked
	Holmes examined it critically
	I hardly expect to go back to Briarbrae
