Synopsis:
An elderly woman is aproached by someone wanting to buy her house, furniture and clothing included. She seeks Holmes' assistance but before Holmes could reply he is warned off the case by ruffians. There is more to this than meets the eye.

Review:
A splendid tale of intrigue but little for Holmes to deduce. Annoying overuse by the director of showing the action through window refections and cracked mirors. Poor Watson gets beat up.
